Destined To Design

I am known for my sensible approach to interior design as well as my talent for blending, color, fabric, pattern and texture together to create beautiful, yet livable rooms. I delight in helping my busy clients transform their houses into inviting homes that reflect their individual taste and style.  I believe that a well designed, tasteful home is life enhancing and that good design is more than pretty furniture and nice finishes.  Above all else your home needs to function in a way that supports your lifestyle, once that is established all the decorative elements will fall into place!  

I have always had a passion for color and design.  Growing up , I worked in my father's paint, decorating, picture framing and artist supply businesses.  I loved to imagine how rooms would look with different paint colors, wallpaper selections and window treatments.  At the University of Washington, I studied art history, textiles and design, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clothing and Textiles Studies.  Upon graduating I worked as a skiwear designer putting my design skills to work in a practical setting.   My frequent moves as an adult, though, is what inspired me to turn my design passion and experience into an interior design career. It was important to me to create a home that was a reflection of my families unique style and looked beautiful too!

I started Interior Vision Design Studio in 2006 while living in Carmel California.  From there I worked on projects up and down the West Coast.   Today I live and work in the Lakewood Ranch, Florida. I continue to work with clients through the country.
